Talking Words

Our sweet girl is quite the talker.  Here are a few of my favorites of her words.

"Bane" (plane) said with excitement when she hears one flying over head as she looks and points straight up.

"Nack" (snack) said, well, often. ;)

"Nap" (napkin) said when she wants to wipe her hands/face.  She's a pretty good lil hands/face wiper.

"He-yo" (here you go) said when she has something to give you.  The other morning she was trying to help her daddy get dressed by picking out pants and a coat, telling him, "He-yo, Dada, he-yo."

"Back" when she gives up you something and then wants it back or wants to put it back.

While driving the other day she started a little chant.  "Bubba, buuubaa, bu-ba! Bubba, dada, daadeee, dad, dada, mama, ma-ma, ma!ma!"  Then she was quiet and when we reached our destination (less than 15 min trip) she was sacked out.  Funny girl!

18 months

         Dr. E

Baby girl is a year and a half old!  She was 23 pounds and 32 inches long at her check up. (I think)

She made several trips to the doctor with wheezing-rsv like symptoms-bronchialitus issues, becoming quite accustomed to the doctor tools and very proficient in using her stethoscope to listen to our hearts and lungs and her otoscope to check our ears.

She enjoys putting shoes on her feet and will even switch them if we tell her they are on the wrong feet.

Horses have become a favorite as when she sees one, she excitedly exclaims, "neigh!"

She likes to sit on us and say, "boun! boun!" (Bounce). I've been quite impressed with her rapid language acquisition.  Just a minute ago she bonked her head on the wall and said, "bonk wall head"

Nutella is a favorite, for sure.

Has perfected her smile for the camera face.

    Is the sweetest Angels fan.

  Sometimes a rough sleeper.
Loves her Bubba.

Gardening and dirt digging are a few of her favorite pastimes.

   along with wearing hats...

And, sharing cookies.

Sweet girl is a joy.  She says woah, bird, her name, and many others.   She is happy and a little bit feisty mixed with some sass.  We are blessed by her and so grateful to God for the good, good gift she is.
