Family Camp 2015

This was our second year to join our church at family camp and we are already excited about next year!

Learning new tricks-

Sticks galore!

First year for the zip line!  This guy had to go with an adult and he and his Daddy went FOUR times the first day and twice the next.  He loved it and is already talking about next year...when he can go by himself.

While Bubs and Daddy were swinging through the trees, this girl took an almost four hour nap.  Sweet thing.

These two-

This delightful guy was there, too, just living the dream.

Sweet boy.

And, about five minutes into the drive home...

6 months

A few of my favorite things;

The way you sometimes excitedly move your arms and kick your feet when I lay you down (baby jumping jacks).

The way you grab my face and get your mouth on my chin.

The way you stick the tip of your little tongue out.

They way your face lights up at someone you recognize.

You blowing raspberries.

The sweet hello-smile you give new people...then bury your face into my shoulder.

Your raspy chatter.

The way you hold your feet.

Your mismatched ears.

Your wide, gummy smile.

This six month old guy is:

On the move.  Not full on crawling but gets where he wants to go.

Loves being outside.  Enjoyed his first time in the swing.

Stats: 2'1.98", 17lbs 5.3oz

Preschool

Well, school is out for summer.

These ladies were jackpot.  So sweet and patient and loved on L (and all of us really) so well.  There's something about people loving my babies that makes my eyes all leaky.

Thanks to a W last name, he was last to get his certificate.  Pretty proud kid an parents.

The class (3 girls were missing)

Last day of preschool:

Holding teacher gifts-homemade salted caramel, yum!

Talking girl-

Our girl had been saying some funny things.

In the car the parents were asking the children to stop being so loud (so we could order food from the drive thru) and she, after a few minutes of silence exclaimed, "stop man!" (With quite a surfer dude accent...and no one had said that!)

Big bro was fussing and she said to me, "Hey, your kid crying."

Any time lil bro is crying I can almost always count on her telling me, "Your baby is crying, get him!"

Tonight she said, "Mom, that girl...at the pool...put that stuff on her boy...it went spraaaayyy." (Mimic a spraying sound) I immediately know what she was talking about...our friend sprayed sunscreen on her son the other day!

Today she set her baby up with a sushi snack, but wouldn't pose for a picture...or maybe she was posing??

Telling me all about something...

I can't really ever get enough of this sweet thing.  Good. Ness.
