The three of Us.

A September morning at 4:46am

We labored through the night and you arrived before the sun rose.  Beth, the midwife, delivered you and Agneizka was our nurse.  They were amazing!  Your Dad was awesome and the four of us (five if we count you) were such a great team.  Wow!  It all went exactly as I had hoped it would go.  And, now you're here!

Here we are getting our things and heading to the hospital!

I started having contractions on Wednesday.  We were scheduled for an appointment with the midwife at 6pm that evening.  As your dad and I sat waiting I had a few contractions.  When we saw Rebecca, she said it sounded like we were in early labor and checked to see if we were making any progress.  We were dilated 3cm and fully effaced.  She said we should take our time, but eventually  make our way down to the hospital birth center.  Then, she accidentally broke my water!  Ahh!  She assured us that everything was ok but that we should take less time getting to the hospital.  We checked in around 8:15 pm.

Mammoth 2010

We went from hot, hot Arkansas to cold, cold Northern California.  There was snow and I was not prepared but we had a great trip with your Noni, Grandpa Dave, Jeff and Nicole.  We are excited to watch you play in Mammoth someday.

It was so beautiful...I had on every layer I took.

Your Daddy and I went out on a paddle boat.  It was freezing and so fun.  Next time, you're paddling with us.

Excited to meet you in 2+ months.

Your first trip to Arkansas

We hopped on a plane and took you to Arkansas...we ate at all of my favorite restarants, saw family and friends, had a little shower for you and played golf.

Well, some of us played golf...you and I rode around in the cart.
