A day at the beach

When we go to the beach with Pawpaw...

We check out some seals...(I don't know why this picture is so big)

And birds on a rock...

We watch the waves crash...

And, then we fall asleep...

Reading

We love to read at our house!

Hey P & G!

This is my favorite part!

I can hold the book!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

I know, I'm a little behind...just letting everyone know he participated in his first St Patty's day!

DST

Our life went on after daylight savings time as it was before.  He woke up around the normal time, but this particular Sunday morning after breakfast  he decided to go right back to sleep.  I guess since it was still dark and his Pa was sleeping he thought he needed to snooze some more.

A is for Avocado

Tonight we busted out the seat and baby spoon and mashed up an avocado.  Our boy acted like he had been eating the green mush for his entire life!  This was our first time to give him anything and he opened his mouth and cleaned the spoon.  I guess we have a solid food eater on our hands...

PawPaw and Gramzee joined in on the excitement.  We are enjoying their visit!  His bib has a muffin under the word stud... ;)

1/2 a year old

Our little man is 6 months old!  We don't go for a checkup for another month so I don't have any numbers.

-He is growing so fast and filling out the 6 month clothes that he just started wearing.
-He is a roll-y-poll-y baby!  I often look over and notice he is off the blanket and in completely different positions.

-I think I will soon have a very mobile baby on my hands!
-Still laughing and talking and sucking his thumb.
-We have not yet started solids...soon we will.
-He started eating his feet last week so I've been leaving his feet bare a lot more.  I love seeing his sweet little toes!

-I have gone in to get him from sleep and several times found him on his tummy and often facing another direction than when we put him down.  He knows which way we come from so sometimes he is on that end of the crib, on his tummy with his head up looking for us and calling for us.  When he finally sees us his little face lights up.  Precious.  Look at him on his tummy...with his little feet crossed!
