Levi lately

I'm not doing so great at keeping this up, but want to remember everything so I need to do more. I was just staring at Emma thinking, "What did people do before they had cameras to photograph their children's lives?!" ;)

Levi is soooo big these days. He quickly memorizes books and can "read" them to us.

We are working to take advantage of that memory and hide God's Word in his little heart. He can tell you Genesis 1:1 and 18:14 (I need to go back to the other ones from bsf because he knows those,too) and he knows Ephesians 6:1 though he is super slow to recite it...hmmm, I wonder why, it just says, "children, obey your parents..." ;)

He is quite the little parrot and a copycat. During my office working days I would put a pen or pencil in my hair so I could always find it. I still do that now and Levi has started trying to put them in his hair when he finds them.

Emma is a little sweetheart and just laughs and chatters all the time.

We do have are moments...when no one naps, there is much disobedience and patience is greatly lacking. Thankfully our hope is in God. His grace is sufficient.

C'est la vie!

(The picture is from this morning...we were trying to get out the door, Emma was screaming and Levi said, "I'm gonna read this book to Emma so she won't be sad." Sweet gesture, she wasn't quite in on the plan. ;)

Sweet words

I love to hear my little two year old talk!

On the way to bed...after giving me a night night hug and sugar, "Have fun, Mama. I'm gonna talk to you later." I guess he thinks much fun goes on out of his room at bedtime because he sure doesn't want to stay in that bed. But he is also sure sweet and fun.

Baby Sister is pretty sweet, too and so are her little words. :)

Great Grandpa King

Your Great Grandpa King passed away. L and E, neither of you will remember him but he thought you were both pretty special kiddos. I have memories of him hold Levi when he was a wee babe and could tell he was so proud. I also remember when he met Emma and how he was really trying to talk to Levi that day. Your Daddy can tell you all about him someday. (Thanks Unc Jeff and Nicole for sharing photos.)

You laid two roses down for you and your sleeping sister (the others were placed by your Daddy, Uncle Jeff and Uncle Dan and your cousins).

You were telling your Great Uncle Howard a good story.

The below picture was taken just before L fell and bloodied his nose. So sad, but he was up ready to go in just a few minutes.

You sure looked cute in your jacket...and you sure enjoyed all those cookies.

You, sweet girl, are such a delight.

3 months

Our little sweetie is 3 months old. The days go by so fast I cannot keep up with much.

We all 4. had colds at the same time yet we survived...God's grace is a beautiful thing.

Big brother is still the best playmate...at least he thinks so, not sure Emma would always agree. :)

She is laughing and talking and so happy and easy, most of the time. We have our moments.
