The Big D-

A few months ago Uncle Biggs proposed to Katie and she said yes.  Finally, the anticipated departure day arrived and we were Dallas bound!
Ready for take-off?

We had a great flight that included eating, sleeping and playing.  We were welcomed by 90+ heat and chauffeured to the rehearsal by a recent high school graduate and friend of the bride's family.  We rehearsed and then ate our weight in Maggiano's Italian food.  It was yummy!  We checked into our hotel a little before 10pm...the crib we requested arrived from another hotel around midnight after several calls to the front desk and being told "15 minutes."

Wedding day brought more heat and time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and catching up with friends!
L meeting a teammate from France and her husband...if only we could have had some cheesy chicken with sauce samurai

All the excitement made for one tired baby.

Resting up for the big night...even though we had a crib

A good friend from college brought her new babe by the church so we could get a quick visit.

How cute are those boy babies?!  Lots of changes since the days in Fulbright dinning hall!
The ceremony was great, filled with encouraging truth and hope in Jesus.  The reception offered great food and a good band playing loud music.  We had headphones for our boy but those pics did not end up on my camera.

Yay!  D & K are married!

Trying to get a photo at the end of the night...

Daddy went back to the cool ocean breeze and dry, 70 degree weather while the boy and I were off for more adventures...
